About me

Let me introduce myself. My name is Rachel and I am a mother, a healer and a women’s yoga teacher.
​
I went to India in 2009 to study within the Sivananda tradition of classical Hatha Yoga and Vedanta. After a short spell of teaching I undertook further studies with Uma Dinsmore-Tuli in Pregnancy Yoga, Women’s Yoga, Well Woman Yoga Therapy and Yoga Nidra. I also completed the three levels of Reiki training.
During this time I fell pregnant and subsequently birthed twin boys in 2011. To keep myself sane during early motherhood I sang….a lot. It was the only spiritual practice that didn’t require the use of hands (ideal if you have twins).
Most recently I completed a wonderful training with Jo Manuel and the Special Yoga Foundation teaching kids Yoga and Mindfulness.

My teaching and healing style is joyful and heart centred and draws deeply from the feminine, the Divine and the humorous.
I live just outside Bristol with my husband Andy and my two boys.
